Cultivating Unforgettable Moments
Western North Carolina becomes home to many who are caught by the wonders and beauty of our mountains and terrain. The well-known, "the mountains are calling, and I must go," is all too real. As true natives of the area, the Howard family have raised generations in WNC. In 2012, they decided to start what was to become Asheville's first proper distillery to distill gin and rum since prohibition. With careful planning, research & development, and a burning desire to see Asheville become not just a beer mecca, but a craft beverage mecca, a distillery that would beckon curious drinkers far and wide was born.
A vision to bring a craft spirit with class to the table would soon become reality.
Over the years the vision has expanded to share the Cultivated Lifestyle. A new way to enjoy the distillery experience was created. From grain to garnish, Cultivated Cocktails takes you from the distillation process through the cocktail creation. Blending craft mixers with our quality spirits, creating the recipes, and passing along the perfect way for you to continue your Cultivated experience at home with our Imbibe Boxes.

Our original location, now a production-only site, is by appointment. Visits are handled directly by our production team and can be made over the phone or by email.
