Spicy Cucumber Julep

2 oz Steel Horse Whisky

0.5 oz Asheville Tea Co. Mountain Mint Tea

1 oz Cucumber Jalapeño Mix Yes Cocktail Co.

1 tsp Sugar

Prepare mint tea according to instructions, but double the amount of tea in the tea to water ratio. Strain out tea leaves and allow to cool completely.


Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and fill halfway with ice. Stir for 15 seconds, alternating directions. Fill a julep just below the brim with crushed ice, then slowly strain the cocktail over top of the ice. Add more crushed ice on top, packing tightly to form mound. Garnish with a cucumber strip and jalapeño coins.
